By booking a session bundle for the Data Frosch mentorship, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Payment & refund
Non-refundable: All payments for booked session bundles are non-refundable.
Installments: If necessary, a larger bundle can be paid for in two or three installments. Contact me for details.
Transferable: Your booked sessions are transferable to another person. If you cannot participate, you may transfer them to someone else by notifying me.
Validity: Booked sessions should be used within 12 months of purchase. If you cannot start within that time, get in touch and we will find a solution on a case-by-case basis.
2. Rescheduling
Advance notice required: I am generally flexible with rescheduling sessions, life happens. However, if you need to reschedule a meeting, please do so before noon of the day before the scheduled session.
Late cancellations: If you cancel or request to reschedule after the deadline (noon the day before), I reserve the right to count that session as completed and may not provide an alternative meeting date.
3. Commitment & attendance
Time commitment: Your bundle includes the number of one-hour sessions you purchased (1 to 4), plus daily asynchronous support (via the community). To get the most out of each session, you are expected to dedicate additional time for practice, homework, and project work between sessions.
Active participation: To get the most value from the mentorship, I recommend you dedicate additional time for practice and engage with the community.
No-shows: Failure to attend scheduled sessions without prior notice may result in that session being counted as completed without a makeup session being offered.
4.Community access
Duration: Access to the online community (currently via Discord) is provided once you book your first session and continues indefinitely.
Community guidelines: All members must treat others with respect. Harassment, spam, or inappropriate behavior will result in removal from the community without refund. See also the #code-of-conduct in the community.
Response time: Daily support means that I aim to respond to questions within 24 hours on business days (Monday-Friday). Response times may be longer on weekends and holidays.
5. Intellectual property
Your work: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all work you create during the mentorship program.
Portfolio use: With your permission, I may showcase anonymized or credited examples of work produced during the mentorship (videos, excercises) in my portfolio, teaching materials, or marketing. I will generally ask your permission to do this, but you may also opt out of this at any time.
Course materials: All course materials, resources, and teaching content provided by Data Frosch are licensed under the CC BY-SA license and may be redistributed if the source is attributed.
6. Confidentiality
Your projects: I will keep your project ideas and work confidential unless you give explicit permission to share them.
7. Technical requirements
Software: Some sessions may require specific software (Python, Excel, data visualization tools). I will provide guidance on free options, but you are responsible for obtaining and installing necessary tools.
Technical support: While I will help with data and programming questions, general IT support for your computer is your own responsibility.
8. Language
Sessions can be conducted in English, Dutch, or Slovak, as agreed when booking.
9. Content & scheduling
Customization: The mentorship is customized to your needs and goals. The exact topics covered will be determined during our initial sessions based on your project, wishes and skill level.
Schedule flexibility: There is no fixed cohort or programme length. The dates and times of your sessions are scheduled mutually, around your availability and the pace of your project.
Right to modify: I reserve the right to make reasonable modifications to the session structure, materials, or content to improve the learning experience.
10. Cancellation by Data Frosch
Right to cancel: I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergency, etc.).
Refund policy: If I am unable to deliver sessions you have already paid for and we cannot find a mutually suitable new date, you will receive a refund for any uncompleted sessions.
11. No guarantee of results
Educational purposes: This mentorship program is for educational and skill-building purposes. While I will provide expert guidance and support, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job placement, publication of your work, or mastery of particular skills.
Individual results vary: Your success in the program depends primarily on your own effort, prior experience, time commitment, and individual circumstances.
12. Limitation of liability
Data Frosch and Ada Homolova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the mentorship program (whatever that may be).
13. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal information: Your personal information (name, email, payment details) will be kept confidential and used only for program administration and communication.
GDPR compliance: I comply with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
Marketing: If you would like to occasionally obtain information about future programs or offerings, you can subscribe to the newsletter.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By completing payment for a session bundle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Data Frosch regarding the mentorship.
